AI-SUPPORTED OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SYSTEM

With the “Video Analysis System”, camera footage is processed using artificial intelligence technologies to enable early detection of safety issues in open and closed areas of ports and shipyards. This helps reduce human error while increasing efficiency.
The system works in integration with existing IP cameras, processing footage from the field and performing the following analyses:
All alarm situations detected as a result of the analyses are instantly transmitted to the control panel in the operator room, and relevant personnel are notified via e-mail and/or SMS. Reports related to alarms are automatically generated at predefined intervals and sent to the relevant personnel.
Since the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data is highly important, the footage used for analysis is processed and stored within the user’s internal system. The system performs all analyses on-premise within the institution’s local network.

1) Fire and Smoke Detection
Flames, fires, and smoke occurring within the camera’s field of view are detected, and the system triggers an alarm. This allows for early intervention before incidents escalate.

2) Helmet Detection
The system checks whether workers are wearing helmets and reports violations with real-time images. This makes it easy to identify personnel not complying with safety regulations.

3) Fall Detection (to the ground / into the sea)
The system detects individuals who fall to the ground or into the sea, generating an alarm for risky situations. It supports emergency response and helps identify urgent needs and reduce risk levels.

4) Area Violation Detection
The user interface allows the operator to define specific areas and run analyses such as “entry-exit control” and “number of people in the area.” The system raises an alarm if unauthorized personnel enter restricted areas.

5) People Counting / Density Detection
The number of people or their density in a specific area can be detected. It helps monitor the performance of assigned personnel during operations. For instance, the number of staff entering or exiting a ship can be tracked.
